Still processing and reprocessing. Fun! At this rate I’ll not finish until sometime after I go back. hehe Here are some of my favorites as of recently.

Above: lotsa zebras in the Serengeti

Sunrise… you guessed it, in the Serengeti

Chillin’ cheetah after a Tommy feast… Serengeti.

Lots more zebras… group hug!

Giraffes in the back yard! Really, just looking out my lodge window! At dusk… Serengeti.

Jeff went out to fire up the grill this afternoon and saw something out front. He thought at first they were cats, but they weren’t really stealthy. One turned towards him and he saw the mask. He came in and I ran out with my camera and the 100-400mm. At first it was a good thing, I was afraid that if I got too close I’d frighten them but eventually they wobbled over to within feet of me and I had to step way back to fit them in the frame! Right now one is hanging out just beside the house. They’re so cute and tiny! And fearless! They showed no fear of us at all. I think if we’d tried they’d have let us pick them up and hold them. Of course, cute as they be, I’d not be doing that. :p

Look how teeny he is! That’s the wheel of the push mower! I think they’re hoping to steal some of our burgers. heh I don’t know about a momma, we just saw the two little ones so I’m afraid she’s not around.
Sad update:
Jeff found one of the baby coons Friday morning. It wasn’t in good condition and wasn’t alive. :( We don’t know where the other one is, and until he found the one that he did, we’d not seen either of them since the evening they entertained us. Poor little guy. We don’t know what got him but the aftermath it left wasn’t pleasant and just beside the door.

You know it’s time to get out there when your lens has a spider web–and spider on it (it’s probably time to dust too!
) It’s just hard to find time when you’re so busy!
I haven’t gone out shooting for *me* in quite a while. I had intended to make it an actual commitment, but that hasn’t happened yet. I’m going to work on that this week… starting today. Baby steps and all.
I really don’t much care for day lilies. I think they’re some of the ugliest flowers ever. They’re like weeds, really. I’ve tried cutting them down, spraying Round-Up on them, everything short of tilling them up or burning them, I guess. But year after year they return– with a vengeance. So I put them to work! Here are a few shots from this evening.

So there we have it. Too, I’m going to be offering some exciting new things soon! So be sure to check back because these are going to be excellent. Also, I’ve been creating new cards and whatnot for my custom designed offerings. Will be posting them soon.
Cheers.
